Welcome to Unit Circle #4

Things continue to go well for us at the Unit Circle. There have been a lot of changes since our last issue. Jane Underwood will be going home to her native Australia, and so will be leaving her post as Literary Editor. While we are sad to see her go, we welcome Nita Daniel who will take over the post. Nita is currently an English major at Grinnell College. She is very uncompromising editor, but that is good for the people who submit, as well as for you, the reader. Also, we continue to net-ify. From this issue forward, all e-mail can be sent to unitcircle.org. We are also now listing e-mail addresses for all of our authors, which makes things simpler for those of you wishing to contact them. Another new thing for this issue is that we are now also publishing in HTML format. This will make reading the electronic versions of the Unit Circle much easier to access. Direct your web browser to our home page at http://www.etext.org/Zines/UnitCircle We've decided to limit each future issue (starting with this one) to 16 pages. This will allow us to put out issues more frequently. This will also allow us to charge less for the paper issues of the magazine and make the electronic ones easier to download. Finally, the biggest change of all: this will be the last Unit Circle issue published from San Francisco. I and the "official" Unit Circle postal address will be moving up to Seattle. tUC will still be distributed around the bay area, so look for Unit Circle #5 to get the new address. In the meantime, the old one will still work for quite a while.

Thanks for all of your support over the last year and a half, and keep it up!

Kevin
