A compact of pneumatic winds,
friezes of steam, dormant heat piping

a fugal rhyme, a stoppered organ's
hefty release, all the summoned

congregating in the refracted light
cast by ice statues carved at absolute

zero and fused to liquid sky, a petroglyph
of primordial times, a skeletal remain

lit by rainbows of negative light
the eye perceives as musical scoring,

a symphony of etheric flight.
